If your mod contains textures, all you need to do is re-build your mod archives and re-upload your Xbox One mod to Bethesda.net.The update does require a new redistributable for Visual C 2015. A lot of mods are relatively small, so I don't think that too many people reach the limit.
Except if you want to add dozens of new weapons and armour and have new textures.If you want to get help with your load order, post it to and somebody might be able to help you. A good method to determine which mods aren't playing along is the 50/50 method. Disable half your mods, see if your game runs without crashes. Of it does, exchange the halves, then test again. Disable half of those mods and do it until you can narrow it down. If that's not working, choose your halves differently, there might be a conflict between mods that have been in different batches.Modding can be a real pain.
I can't imagine how inconvenient it can be on consoles, with all the possibilities of messing up your game. It's fun to mods, but finding out what causes problems can be time consuming. But that does not mean your game should crash often, just because you use mods. If it's like Skyrim, you won't actually hit your mod limit until you have 255 active plugins. I'm fairly sure they've corrected that, but since I haven't started modding FO4 yet, I can't say for sure.Anyhow, it's definitely a problem with your mods. Play with your load order, but if you have a conflict, you might not be able to correct it without a compatibility patch.
Try to figure out where and under what circumstances that the crashes are happening - find a commonality between them, and then look into your mods which affect those. If that doesn't work, try to find an area or circumstance in which your game reliably crashes - then start disabling your mods one at a time until you no longer crash. This may not help if the problem is stemming from a script fragment in your save file.

In that case, you pretty much just have to start over with a fresh save.It happens. Eventually there may be a method that can extract a save from the Xbox, and once converted to a PC save, use a script remover tool if one has been developed. Skyrim had one because it also uses papyrus which saves script fragments to your save file. The save file itself should be exactly the same between PC and console, just with a different header. I transferred my FO3 save from my 360 to my PC a long time ago.It'll be a long time before those tools are developed though.
Just keep an eye out in the future for them. From what I gathered with my very limited knowledge of using mods, most mod authors use high or custom made resolution textures when they create the mods for PC. If what I think this is, it means that this update for the Creation Kit will make to easy for creators to 'dumb' down the textures for consoles so they will run better on them and likely be smaller file sizes.Of course I could be wrong. But that's what I would assume it all means. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will reply.
